FASHION: Featuring Babyghost

Today’s feature post is going to be on the intercontinental fashion brand, Babyghost. The brand was formed by Chinese fashion designers Qiaoran Huang and Josh Hupper back in 2010. The two talented designers had interned for major fashion lines like Dianne Von Furstenburg and Thakoon before moving on to create a brand of their own.

The aesthetics behind the brand is streetwear but balanced with just the right touch of femininity and hardness. Not only that, the pair take inspiration from various different aspects of the world around them. Their latest 2015 line is inspired by the Home House in London, previously owned by the Countess of Home. The inspiration can clearly be seen in the beautiful floral fabrics in their collection, the lace detailing reminiscent to that of the Home House’s curtains, as well as the soft silhouettes of the pieces.
