CULTURE: Chh’a Bistro & Bar in Bhutan

Today’s feature post is going to be on Chh’a Bistro & Bar in Bhutan. This restaurant is one of the best restaurants according to reviews from Trip Advisor and similar sites. Chh’a was opened on February 1st, 2013 and has been serving many locals and tourists from around the world. The restaurant has many connections with travel agents in Bhutan and receives a lot of media coverage as a result. But don’t think that their fame is the result of their media coverage. The dishes and cuisine that Chh’a serves is one-of-a-kind and a must-try if you’re ever near here. Chh’a provides multi-cultural dishes including Chinese and Bhutanese fusion dishes. They also entertain guests with cultural programs whenever possible.

The head chef of Chh’a Bistro & Bar is also incredibly accommodating and helpful. Dawa Dorji, the head chef and owner of the bistro, has accomplished an extensive amount of achievements at the young age of 31. He holds a bachelors degree in Hotel Management from M.S. Ramaiah College of Hotel Management in Bangalore. He has previously worked at Taj Tashi, Bhutan, for two years. He proceeded to resign in order to pursue his dream of opening his own restaurant and serving guests exquisite dishes of fusion cuisine.
