With warm weather comes daisy crowns, circle sunglasses, and high-waisted shorts. It’s that time of year again, the season for music festivals. Whether you’re going to be attending Coachella, Osheaga, Veld, or even a rock, punk, or metal festival like Heavy Festival, Belleza Moda has you covered. Of course, take the suggestions with a grain of salt as everyone has a different, but definitely unforgettable, experience during festivals. Without further ado, here are five accessories that are must-haves to have the best time during festivals.
1. Portable Fan
Some of you may be cocking your heads at this suggestion, but trust us, it really helps. Especially during those hot summer festivals where thousands of people are packed into one tiny space. You’re going to be wishing you had something to cool you off then, and a portable fan, especially one with a water spritzer is going to be a godsend.

Portable fan, available from http://www.ipmart.com. Though any small portable fan should be available from your nearest dollar store in the summer months. Make sure to bring extra batteries too.
2. Hydration Backpacks
This is similar to our first suggestion, but more along the lines of keeping hydrated. When there’s a whole bunch of people crowded around, the last thing you want to be is dehydrated. After all, you don’t want to pass out while jamming out to your favourite bands and end up missing an amazing experience. Most festivals do sell water inside, but it’s extremely marked up. Who wants to pay an exorbitant amount for water? Not us. Our second suggestion is hydration backpacks which you can fill with water. These backpacks have a straw/tube connected to them so you drink whenever you feel like it. These may not be the prettiest things around, but would you rather pass out with a pretty bag or stay hydrated to enjoy the rest of the set?

3. Sunscreen
This suggestion is kind of self-explanatory, but surprisingly a lot of people still forget. When you’re at an outdoor festival during the day you’re bound to get at least a little bit sunburned. You don’t want to wake up the next day unable to move your arms or legs because your sunburn is so bad. So make sure you bring sunscreen, even a spray-on sunscreen with a high SPF count works. Belleza Moda Magazine recommends Banana Boat SPORT Sunscreen with SPF 50 for the perfect festival must-have.
4. Hats
Whether it be a light beanie, fedora, baseball cap, or bucket hat, just remember to bring a hat. A lot of people forget that despite having hair on the tops of their heads, they can still get sunburned. It’s not like you can apply sunscreen to the top of your head without looking weird or making your hair all oily and greasy. It also isn’t an effective way to protect your scalp either. Below, we’ve included a bunch of different choices for festival hats.
5. External Chargers
You don’t want to be waiting around a super packed charge station just to use a plug to charge your phone. Instead, why don’t you invest in a high quality external charger so you and your friends can share. It’s not likely that you’ll be using your phone for anything more than pictures anyways. But just in case there’s an emergency it’s always a good idea to keep your phone charged.
