BEAUTY: “No-Makeup” Makeup Look (Base)

Recently, we’ve seen a lot of “no-makeup” makeup looks worn all around us. It’s the perfect look for a date out with a boy, an easy daytime look while hanging out with friends, or even to wear to school without feeling like your makeup is too caked on. For those of us who don’t look naturally flawless when we wake up and get out of bed, this is the perfect look for you.

Today, Belleza Moda Magazine brings you a couple of makeup items for the perfect “no-makeup” naturally flawless skin. The key is in naturally dewy and flawless skin, so try not to use the heaviest and most matte foundation you own.

1. Start off with the perfect base. Make sure to keep your skin soft and supple by moisturizing everyday and exfoliating once a week. We don’t recommend using exfoliating cleansers with plastic microbeads as recent studies have shown these to be extremely harmful to the environment. Try something like the Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator, as shown below.

2. Since the skin is so crucial to achieving the flawless “no-makeup” makeup look, our second step is to even out the skin tone by using a tinted moisturizer or BB cream. However, it’s important to note that because of the high SPF evident in many BB cream’s, it may leave a white cast in pictures so if you want to use solely BB cream make sure to mix it with something else. For the girls out there who need a little more coverage, a light foundation that leaves a satin glow will do as well.
