Attending Sheridan college for cosmetic techniques and management put me on the path to becoming a successful hair and makeup artist.
Using the skills I acquired at Sheridan, combined with 10+ years in the industry, I’ve had the pleasure of working with such diverse clientele, and help enhance their features using various techniques and methods.
During this shoot, I created a look with a dramatic smokey eye. The beauty of a smokey eye is that the drama of it depends on each individual person. Even though this look may be too heavy for some, the same technique can be used for a much softer and more natural look using colours such as beige, soft pinks, and browns.
Primers and setting mists are a girls best friend when trying to achieve a good foundation coverage, that will also be long lasting. Mac Prep n Prime is a must have for anyone with an oily t zone! I also love to finish off my applications with a light spritz of The Body Shop’s Vitamin E face mist. I have used it on on everyone, from brides and bridal parties, to international artists like Neha Dhupia and Ihana Dhillon.
When opting to go with a more dramatic eye, I recommend using nudes or natural pinks for your lip. Bare Naked and Bare Baby are two of my favorite Laura Mercier lipglosses. A must have in any makeup bag!
